April is our Birthday Month
We can’t believe it’s been three years since we started this fun little journey! For quite a long time we’ve been helping our friends and family plan the best Disney vacation they could have, way before the launch of Midwest Disney life. We love to share our knowledge with everyone which is why we decided to start this little project. In April 2022 we launched our blog, and all forms of social media followed suit. You can find us on Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram as well as on our original blog website. We’ll be celebrating our birthday all month long, so be sure to follow along! We want to take a moment to Thank You all for following our journey. If it weren’t for you, there would be no audience for Midwest Disney Life. We love sharing our tips and tricks as well as our experiences, and we love having a special platform to do just that. At first, we were nervous to start a blog. However, over time, it has become such a joy to share with you. So, thank you for following along and putting up with us. Over the last three years (and before that) Erica has helped us plan a multitude of trips! And we know she will do the same for you. So be sure to contact her when you’re ready for your trip.

Who We Are
Over the last three years we have grown as bloggers, and as people! Therefore, we want to take a minute to reintroduce ourselves to you.
Krysta
I’m first and foremost a wife of 13 years, and a mom to my 9-year-old son. My husband and I honeymooned in Disney World in 2012. We made so many memories, but we also made a lot of rookie mistakes. Over the next several years we struggled with infertility which made traveling impossible due to the high costs. We were finally blessed with our son in 2016. It was then that we traveled to Disney World for the first time as a family of three. This was an amazing trip, and we definitely soaked in every moment with our chubby-cheeked 10-month-old. In 2019 we decided to become Annual Passholders. Since then, we travel to Disney World at least twice per year.
I am obviously a Disney lover and have been my whole life. To my friends and family, I’m known as the Disney Pro. Although I would never claim to be a Pro, we’re always learning. I’m a preschool teacher and love capturing the attention of little minds as they grow and learn. Becky and I met way back in grade school around the year 1995 and became fast friends pretty much instantaneously.
In 2022 when we started the blog, we were working at a daycare together. We knew our days there were coming to an end. We both believed we were going to each take different paths as far as careers go. So, we launched the blog as a way to stay connected and still work closely with one another. Funnily enough God had other plans for our career paths! We fortunately still get to work together at a local school and get to blog together too. We sure are lucky!

Hey Everyone! I cannot believe we have reached 3 years with MidwestDisneylife!
As Krysta said above, we have been friends for a very long time. She was one of the first people I met when my family moved to our town when I was a kid, and I am so grateful for her friendship. It truly is something special to know someone for so long.
I am Auntie B to my two beautiful nieces and one awesome nephew. They make my life so full and amazing. I am a daughter to my wonderful parents, sister to my two younger brothers, I have an amazing sister-in-law and I’m Miss. Becky to all my kiddos at work. If you ask anyone who knows me, I am usually singing, dancing or laughing. The world can be so cruel, I just want to make sure everyone around me feels good. A smile and kind words can go a long way.
My love of Disney started when I was a young kid. As a family we traveled to Florida fairly regularly to visit extended family and thankfully Disney wasn’t far away! My brothers and I have fond memories of the long drive down, windows open, Toy Story or Lion King soundtrack in the tape player and belting out some songs. It was a great way to spend a long road trip. Additionally, I come from a very large Disney loving family. I have nearly 20 cousins and my grandparents had Disney movies galore. We would have giant cousin sleep overs in the living room, falling asleep to all the classic Disney movies. So, the love runs deep.
Again, I want to extend a big thank you to all of you for following along. For allowing us to share our love of Disney with you. Hopefully our passion helps you in planning a trip or answering questions you may potentially have. We love doing this!

Upcoming Plans
Luckily, we BOTH have summer Disney trip plans in the works! So there will be lots of content coming to you soon! I am planning a trip as soon as school lets out for the summer. We will get to experience the end of The Flower and Garden Festival. Becky is hoping for a mid-summer celebration in Disney and possibly experiencing a holiday extravaganza. Additionally, we have a good friend headed for a land and sea trip (where you vacation on a Disney Cruise and in Disney World). She has graciously agreed to share her experiences with us. So be sure to check back to learn more about that! We’re looking forward to some amazing content and can’t wait to share our upcoming plans with you.
