Now let the snacking begin!
Cinnamon Rolls
The warm gooey Cinnamon Rolls (and a Lefou’s Brew) from Gaston’s Tavern are a must for me and my family. A trip is not complete without one! We ask for extra icing and enjoy before heading off to our next attraction. At $6.99 (and $6.79) these are a great use of a snack credit if you’re using the dining plan, but even if not-totally worth it! We give this snack a 10/10
Mickey or Minnie Caramel Apples
Classics with a Disney twist! I love that they cut the apples there if you’d like them to be. This is such an iconic snack and makes for a great photo op too! You can even take a minute or two to watch the caramel apples be hand dipped by cast members. These beauties will cost you $12.99 and will be money deliciously spent. Located in the Main Street Confectionary, you can’t go wrong with any of their snack choices. My husband loves creating his own popcorn concoction in the back of the store. Rating these at 8/10 for these iconic snacks.
Turkey Legs
Love it, or hate it, it seems to be pretty divided one way or the other. But they had to be included in the list for a savory option. I personally could skip this one, but my husband and son love them. These monstrosities are located at Prince Eric’s Village Market and will set you back $15.49. In my opinion the flavor is more like ham, so I’d rate this 6/10 as there is a ton of meat for your money.
Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich
A warm waffle topped with Nutella then stuffed with fresh fruit is delicious and refreshing! We stop here for breakfast and sometimes lunch too! At only $8.49 I feel like this is a steal! For lunch and dinner check out their Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle. It is divine, we’d rate it 9/10. All of these options can be found at Sleepy Hollow, it’s definitely worth the wait. Each of these could be a large snack or a meal depending on how hungry you are, and if you share.
Ice Cream
There’s nothing better on a hot Florida day than ice cream on a fresh waffle cone from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. We love to grab a sweet treat while waiting for fireworks, or just after fireworks have ended. We try to find a quiet spot on the hub grass and watch as droves of people head back to their resort hotels. It’s peaceful and a great way to close out a busy Magic Kingdom day! There are so many different options to pick from, but we love the Mickey or Minnie Sink Sundae. We’ve also been known to grab a classic cone with Mickey Ears! You truly can’t go wrong 10/10.
Spring Rolls
If something savory is on your list, look no further than the Spring Roll Cart on your way to Adventureland. There are several different spring rolls that rotate through the cart, and they always offer two different options. You can try one of each or stick with ones you know you like. The Cheeseburger Spring Rolls are a favorite among my family. Served in sets of two these set you back $9.50 for the pair. We rank this snack 8/10
Mickey Shaped Rice Crispy Treats!
They can be plain, covered in chocolate, white chocolate, candy, or even some are different flavors. Not only are they delicious but can be a cheaper snack option. They currently cost $6.99. But if you love these gooey bites, I highly recommend getting one. And on the plus side you can pretty much find them everywhere on Disney property! Yum!
Mickey Shaped Soft Pretzel
Want a traditional Disney snack? Look no further! Grab yourself a Mickey Pretzel! They are big enough to share if desired but most definitely are just fine for one person! These salty soft bites can come with a cheese dipping sauce on the side, or you can enjoy it plain! One of my all-time favorite Disney memories is sitting on main street with my cousin while we munched on pretzels and waited for Happily Ever After to begin! A Mickey Pretzel is currently selling for $7.79. Go get it!
Dole Whip
On a hot Day, or any day really, head over to Aloha Isle near Alladins Carpet ride and grab a Dole Whip! These frozen pineapple treats are sure to win you over. You can also head over to the Polynesian Resort and get one over there too! Not only do you have the classic pineapple flavor but there are usually at least 2 other flavors to pick from. You can also enjoy it as a plain soft serve or have it my favorite way as a float in pineapple juice! So delicious. These are currently cost anywhere from $5-$10 depending on your order! 10\10 a must get!
