Dinner at Be Our Guest!

HiYa Pals!

Have you ever wanted to visit Beasts castle from Beauty and the Beast? Perhaps dine there? Lucky for us Disney has created such a place!

Located in the back of Magic Kingdom, past Cinderella’s Castle, near the carousel is the wonderful restaurant, Be Our Guest. I had dinner there and I want to tell you all about it!

The Restaurant

Disney has done and amazing job with the theming. Using some pixie dust Disney has created the Beasts Castle. Cross the lighted bridge and enter into what feels like the movie!

My adorable nieces dressed up ready for dinner!

Upon arrival you walk up to the front gate. There you are greeted by cast members ready to check you in. Once your party is checked in and the castle is ready, you enter the gates, walk across the bridge and step into the stunning entry way.

Here you are greeted by another cast member ready to escort you to the waiting area. On your way you walk through a hall lined with armored statues who may or may not turn their heads. The waiting room is themed to Belle’s library. It’s beautiful, you are fully immersed in the movie.

Dining rooms

Once our party was called, I was asked if we would be ok seated in the West Wing. I didn’t fully comprehend what that meant at the time. This part of the restaurant is fully immersive and designed to make it feel like you are seated in the “scary” part of the castle. If you have littles who are afraid of the dark, loud noises or random flashing lights, this may not be the room for you. And that’s ok. They are happy to seat you elsewhere.

I was caught up in the excitement of being there, I foolishly said it would be no problem. Boy, I made a mistake. One of my nieces and my nephew did not have a good time. By dinners end, they calmed down, sadly it was meltdown city for a while.

The Entrance to Be Our Guest

There are three seating areas to the restaurant. The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing and The Castle Gallery Room. It was nice to walk into the rooms and soak it all in!

The Food

At Be Our Guest they have a preset menu. Adults are $62 and Kids are $37. The menus have several different options all were wonderful. First, they serve you a delightful bread-and-butter service.

Appetizers

You then pick an appetizer, entree and dessert. For my appetizer I had the country seasonal salad. It was delicious. For their appetizers they currently offer a French onion soup, Duck and Pork Terrine, Potato-Leek Soup with Caviar, and Escargot de Bourgogne. Several of my family members had the soup and it looked amazing.

Entrees

The entrees include Herb-salted Pork Tenderloin, Vadouvan Spiced Vegetables, Poulet Rouge Chicken, Sustainable Market Fresh Fish, and Center-cut Filet Mignon. YUM! I had the Filet Mignon. O buddy it is mouthwatering. Melt in your mouth good. The mashed potatoes and veggies hit the spot!

Desserts

For dessert everyone has the same thing. You get a plate with several small desserts on it. You even get the famous gray stuff! It’s delicious. A Lemon Jam Macaron, A Dark Chocolate Truffle, and A Vanilla Cake with Lemon Curd. I enjoyed all of it. My favorite, the chocolate truffle, yummy.

Be Our Guest Again?

Our time at Be Our Guest was a wonderful one.

Our server was amazing. There were 9 of us at one table and he was on it. He was attentive and quick. My brother has a chicken and nut allergy, our server let the chef know, the chef came to the table and made sure everything was perfect for my brother. It was wonderful. We had plenty of time to enjoy the food without being overwhelmed with extra things. He made sure the kids enjoyed their food and was incredibly accommodating.

Walking to the waiting room you get to see these fun guys!

We all enjoyed it. Dinner at Be Our Guest is a wonderful time. Is it worth $62 dollars? Probably not, none the less I will say the experience as a whole was fantastic. We would all go back again given the chance. Looking for another place to eat while on your Disney vacation? Check out our review on Sebastians Bistro!

Beast does make an appearance every now and then. He would walk into each room, wave and bow. Pre-covid you were able to meet the Beast and take a photo in the library. I am unsure if that has returned yet or not.

Overall, I do recommend giving Be Our Guest a try. It’s beautiful. The food is delicious, and it’s just a fun experience.
