Why Choose a Disney Moderate Resort?

Hiya pals!

We’re here to talk about the moderate hotel category! These include Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter, and Disney Vacation Clubs (DVC) Old Key West and Saratoga Spring Resorts. I have been fortunate enough to stay at all of these resorts. Why choose a Disney Moderate resort? Let’s jump right in and take a closer look.

A gorgeous night in the middle of three bridges. Wonderful food, great drinks and beautiful atmosphere!

Carribean Beach Resort

Theming here is immersively tropical including the store and restaurants. Located in the EPCOT resort area, you are transported to the islands of the Caribbean including Aruba, Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique and Trinidad.

They offer Little Mermaid rooms if you or your little one is into The Little Mermaid. They aren’t overly themed, but definitely give off under the sea vibes. We can’t wait to try them out hopefully soon. Bus transportation will get you to and from the parks with ease. Skyliner access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios is fast and easy. Exploring your resort you’ll find hammocks, bike rentals, playgrounds and more.

Restaurants

Included is Sebastian’s Bistro, a sit-down restaurant. Centertown Market where you can grab and go or relax and stay awhile. As well as pool bars, Spyglass Grill and Banana Cabana. All of these locations offer great food and a relaxing atmosphere. To see our review of Sebastian’s Bistro click here.

With Disney Springs next door you can hop on a boat and head on over. Opening up a lot more options to enjoy! Alongside boat transportation, there are buses to get you to and from the parks.

You’re sure to find a resort you love in the moderate category of Disney hotels! Each resort has a different, distinctive feel to it. The rooms in this price point are slightly larger and the theming a little more immersive.

We love staying at these resorts, the pools are fun with both unique water slides and splash pad areas. The grown-ups like to soak in the bubbly waters of the hot tubs, it seems to take some of the tiredness out of our feet and legs after walking around the parks all day.
